Living in a
Haunted House as a Paranormal Investigator By: Steven Raebel This is a story of my most recent Investigation as a paranormal Researcher. Before we get into that I will give a little background of who I am. My name is Steven Raebel; I am the Founder of a Western Michigan Paranormal Group Called “Michigan Paranormal Project”. The group was founded in April 2005 and we have been documenting and recording evidence in haunted locations since. I’ve had paranormal experiences from the young age of 5. In my mid 20's I wanted to start documenting and discovering what was really going on. I have lived in Haunted houses or homes with spirit activity most of my life, but nothing compares to my last experience. In Aug 2008 I decided to move to a local tourist town called Saugatuck. Saugatuck is a waterfront community with lots of history and culture. It is a very laid back, calm, artistic, lake front community and with an amazing history. In a rush to find a place to rent, because of self imposed limitations, I was desperately looking for an available house in my limited price range. Within one week I found an old house just outside of town, set back off the road, in a shaded property in the historic district part of town. The price was a little steep for what I wanted to pay but for a 2 bedroom house, it was perfect for what we were looking for. So I did a quick walk through of the house and said “yes”. Now, I believe every thing happens for a reason; unfortunately this was not a smart move on my part. Within a week of signing the lease we moved into our new house. At the time I was working two full time jobs, doing investigations and Internet radio. I was starting a new family in a new location, and everything seemed perfect. Within approximately 4 days of moving in, my former girlfriend’s two little girls kept saying they would see a man standing in their room at night and in the morning. We looked into it decided to switch rooms with them shortly after. At this point we had felt spirits around us in the house but didn’t think much of it. We thought it was spirit guides or loved ones who passed away, coming to give comfort and love. Within two months of living in the house we had experienced Full body apparitions, hearing voices, and had taken strange pictures in the house. It didn’t take long for everyone to start acting out of character. Emotional outbursts, lethargy, headaches, depression, arguments, sleeplessness and strange actions all began to occur to those we spoke to and communicated with inside the house. Our lives began to unravel and so did our relationship. After Six months my former girlfriend and her two children who lived with me, moved out. At that time I began doing a paranormal investigation on my own house. Once I began communicating with the spirits in the house, they started manifesting and communicating to everyone but me. Family members, other paranormal investigators even groups were able to get the spirits to communicate. At the time I worked with psychics all over the Once I started bringing people into the house mostly who were sensitive to the other side I started to understand what was going on. Seemed most people who were in contact with the house started to have drastic grounding issues. They were inspired but very out of control lifestyles. That is when I met my spiritual life coach. Bernadette Dickinson is a Clairvoyant Life coach, author and professional Psychic. Most of the work she does is based on spiritual principles and spiritual understanding. I started to tell her about some of the experiences I was having and that is when she started to teach me how to pray and protect myself when dealing with the paranormal. This is when I started to understand not all sprits were love and light. I started to learn Psalms and read the Bible when the activity in the house started to get uncomfortable. Not only were there full body apparitions manifesting, but screaming and yelling coming from rooms nobody was in. Objects flying off the bookshelf’s, phone chargers flying out of the walls, beds shaking violently, and people who would visit being overcome or possessed by disembodied spirits. I understand it all sounds crazy but these things would happen on a daily basis with eyewitness within the paranormal, spiritual people, models working for me, psychics, family members, friends, and skeptics. Aside from me, they attacked the models and skeptics the hardest. For the last six months I have lived in this house studying and doing communication work with the spirits in the house, isolated except for doing radio shows. I can no longer do that while in the house because of electronic interference from the spirits. I have lived isolated studying on what the spirits are why they are here and understanding how they communicate to each other and us. This has been a very tough battle and high price for a spiritual education. My heart and prayers go out to anyone who has to go threw this in life. My current lease is coming to an end and I am so excited to be moving on. The one thing I have learned from this experience is that there are a lot of aspects of activity we can’t see or predict. It is very important to be educated on all possibilities. As a paranormal researcher I will include all of my experience from this house and apply it to future investigation. I have learned how important it is to combine both scientific and spiritual aspects when doing my research. I encourage anyone wanting to get into paranormal to broaden their scope to include spiritual principles of protection.
From the Author
We have done Investigations with Public locations, Graveyards, Private residences, Private Businesses, House Cleansing, Live Investigations broadcast on Radio, and Council with many others in the same field. Going into the Paranormal I was very Excited to discover the truth but was also very skeptical that there were others like me. Now I am a supporter of the work A lot of others are doing and why they are doing it. I have learned a lot in the few years that we have been looking into discovering the truth about paranormal and we have a lot more to learn. Current projects that we are excited about is helping others learn and protect them selves concerning Paranormal Activity. We have a Radio show on Blog talk Radio Called Michigan Paranormal Underground Radio. This has helped us connect with people All over the world. Hearing different experiences and story's has really helped us in learning from others prospectives world wide. Interviewing People who are active in the paranormal as far as studying and others who have to live or deal with paranormal activity on a daily basis in homes or businesses they live and own is something that has really helped us learn and want to help educate people on what we have learned along the way. The Radio show is a great way for us to keep everyone up to date on current events and help more people share with some of the experiences that cross our path on a weekly basis. I want to thank everyone for all the support and help along the way. We are to do what we have passion for and learn so that we can help others. We have crossed paths with all types of backgrounds and personality types. We very much appreciate all the people who have helped us
along the way and continue to come into our paths as we are on this
journey. We very much look forward to
hearing from everyone and your feedback is something we learn from Greatly.

There are dangers in
this field that you will not see on Sci-Fi’s Ghost Hunters, Ghost Hunters
International, or A&E’s Are you ready or qualified to go into a home and tell a family that there is no spirits in the home, but instead there is a very serious psychological problem stemming from one person or another in side the home?
What makes one person more qualified than another to make this sort of diagnosis? Well, a degree for example; A degree in psychology or Parapsychology. There are teams out there who instead of having one on their team, they have chosen to incorporate one as a close friend to assist in private residence cases, which is fine to.
Are you or your team ready for the real dangers out there?
This is a question you must ask yourself. Say your team has been around for a year or more and has only ever done ‘pay hunts’ at public places, leaving you with minimal evidence and true experience. One day you get a call from a private homeowner who is terrified, this person or their children are being hurt physically in their home. After gathering your information and taking a report. You set up a date, for an emergency case you and your team decide the sooner the better right? This house sounds seriously active and promising. Maybe you will gather enough evidence to finally get ‘noticed’ in the field.
So the big day comes along and you and your team show up promptly on time to interview the client and get all of your expensive and impressive collection of equipment set up. During the investigation something does happen, an investigator is thrown down the stairs in the home. Badly hurt and you must call a squad; that investigator down, you continue on like ‘professionals’ hell bent on doing the job and getting the evidence. At the end of the night you pack up your stuff and call it a night. All the evidence you’ve gathered and an investigator still in the hospital.
Once the data has all been reviewed, you do what they do on television. You present this evidence to the homeowner. Offering them absolutely no help or advice of any kind you and your team move on to the next great feat. Presenting all of your evidence on your website and your MySpace accounts. Declaring it all ‘Copyright (your team name)’
In the end you have one investigator who now has a medical bill and a homeowner with no answers. Just a disc of evidence to show to other teams who will come in and do the same thing. Still leaving the homeowner with no real answers, but a lot more questions. What about mailing the evidence on a disc to the client? That sound like you helped anyone?
Does this sound like your team? If this hit a cord with you then chances are it is your team.
I do not have a problem with new teams, younger teams at all. They are the future of Paranormal Research, but what I do have a problem with is these fly by nights who are trying to be the next Ghost Hunters or Ghost Hunters International Stars. Or the next Paranormal Celebrity chasing ghosts in the next big Paranormal Documentary or Movie.
Just a little insight here. Those people you see featured in these documentaries, television shows, or movies have had years of experience, training and investigating under their belts. Some do not, I’ll admit. Some people are just on there to share their experiences, but one five minute spot on an interview is not making them a Paranormal Star.
Here’s my advice.
Get a lot of training, read lots of books, do a lot of research. Don’t go out and spend thousands of dollars on equipment to attempt to catch the best evidence this is not a contest. If you must form your own group with out ever joining another team because you can not stand to be told what to do, then ask for help from other teams. Learn from each other! Do not get your training by watching 1 hour shows on Sci-fi or A&E or any other channel. Remember they have editors who cut out a lot of the less than interesting parts. You only see on those shows what they want you to see. They are only out for ratings, not for helping or expanding the paranormal field. Nor are these channels trying to educate you on how to do what they do… *These comments are directed solely at the television channels themselves and not those appearing in the shows.*

This
works because there is a warped region of space surrounding the spinning
cylinder that acts as a time suppressant. Anything outside of the warped region
would mover further and further into the past. One hitch in this device was Tipler required
that the cylinder be infinitely long. New research indicates this is not
necessarily so. Some in fact believe that if you orbited a spinning black hole
or neuron star, you could achieve the same effect. Still another concept would
be to utilize infinitely long and dense cosmic strings that could somehow be
made to spin fast enough to get a closed time loop to form around it. Better
still, according to Randle highlights a physicist who has deep
personal reasons for building a time Machine. Ron Mallett lost his father to
death when he was only ten years old. His quest is to see his father again. Ron
is working on a machine that uses lasers to warp space by orbiting them and
spinning them at high speed, creating a time distortion. He believes this
distortion will actually be a spatial dimension, a time within its own
landscape that a person could navigate in. Ron began construction in 2002. Good
luck Ron!
Storms and Mysteries Aside for our infantile efforts to enter the
time displacement race, alien technologies are most likely way ahead of us in
manipulating the energy of the universe. In her book Time Storms, Randle writes
that time warps may already exist naturally, based on documented human
experiences of lost time, time leaps, altered perception of time, and rifts in
the fabric of space. It is quite possible that places such as the Bermuda
Triangle, the One of the most well-known encounters in the
Bermuda Triangle happened to Bruce Gernon Jr. on December 4, 1970. Bruce and
his father had built up a successful real estate brokerage in southern For those of you who are long-standing buffs
of the Triangle’s evolving mythos, you have already heard versions of Bruce’s
account, the first in 1977 in Charles Berlitz’s sequel Without A Trace, and
from Arthur C. Clarke’s Mysterious Universe, Discovery Channel and on a recent
TLC documentary on the Bermuda Triangle, for which this webmaster was the
Consultant. Bruce is far from a “salesman” or publicity
seeker. He strikes one as contemplative and non aggressive. The only reason his
account became public was from his friendship with the late J. Manson
Valentine, who often cataloged the unexplained in the Bermuda Triangle and was
the source for Charles Berlitz’s 2 books on the subject. Gernon was so amazed at his encounter that
he wrote down details shortly after it happened and even began to do some of
his own investigating. Here he shares some of what he encountered and what he
has discovered over the last 30 years of flying the Triangle. His keen memory
for detail has aided in the production of pictures and maps, detailing what he
experienced.
In his own words:
“My dad and I had been flying our own plane
in the “Miami Flight Service reported over the VHF
radio that the weather was good, so we continued. But the lenticular cloud
quickly changed into a huge cumulus cloud. We were climbing at 1,000 feet per
minute, and the cloud seemed to be building up at the same rate. Unexpectedly,
it caught up and
engulfed the Bonanza. After 10 minutes of climbing in and out of this cloud,
the airplane finally broke free at 11,500 feet and the sky was clear.“ “I leveled the Bonanza off and accelerated
to its maximum safe cruising speed of 195 miles per hour. When I looked back at
the cloud, I was astonished. It now looked like an immense squall, abnormally
shaped in the form of a giant semicircle extending around us. Visibility was
about ten miles and the cloud continued beyond my perception, so it must have
been more than 20 miles long. After a few minutes, I lost sight of it.” “Soon we noticed another cloud building
directly in front of us, near the “We had been flying for 27 minutes. We
thought we might be able to fly around the cloud, but after six or seven miles
we saw that it continued in a near-perfect curve to the east. After two more
minutes it became apparent that the cloud near “Thirteen miles later, I noticed a large
U-shaped opening on the west side of the doughnut cloud. I had no choice but to
turn and try to exit through the opening. As we approached, we watched the top
ends of the U-gap join, forming a hole. The break in the cloud now formed a
perfect horizontal tunnel, one mile wide and more than 10 miles long. We could
see the clear blue sky on the other side.” “We also saw that the tunnel was rapidly
shrinking. I increased the engine RPM, bringing our speed to the caution area
of 230 miles per hour. When we entered the tunnel, its diameter had narrowed to
only 200 feet.” “I was amazed at what the shaft now looked
like. It appeared to be only a mile long instead of ten-plus as I had
originally estimated. Light from the afternoon sun shone through the exit hole
and made the silky white walls glow. The walls were perfectly round and slowly
constricting. All around the edges were small puffs of clouds of a contrasting
gray, swirling counterclockwise around the airplane.” “We were in the tunnel for only 20 seconds
before we emerged from the other end. For about five seconds I had the strange
feeling of weightlessness and an increased forward momentum. When I looked
back, I gasped to see the tunnel walls collapse and form a slit that slowly
rotated clockwise. “Something bizarre had happened. Instead of
the blue sky we expected, everything was a dull, grayish white haze. Visibility
seemed like more than two miles, yet we could not see the ocean, the horizon,
or the sky. The air was very stable and there was no lightning or rain. I like
to refer to this as an “electronic fog;” because it seemed to be what was
interfering with our instruments. I had to use my imagination to feel our way
west.” “We were in the electronic fog for three
minutes when the controller radioed that he had identified an airplane directly
over “Suddenly the fog started breaking apart, in
a weird sort of electronic fashion. Long horizontal lines appeared in the fog
on either side of us. The lines widened into slits about four or five miles
long. We saw blue sky through them. The slits continued expanding and joined
together. Within eight seconds, all the slits had joined, and the gray fog had
disappeared. All I could see was brilliant blue sky as my pupils adjusted to
the abrupt increase in brightness. Then, I saw the barrier
“It should have taken about four minutes to
travel through the tunnel, since it appeared to be between 10 and 15 miles
long. Instead, this is precisely how long it took for us to leave the storm and
reach clear skies. The remarkable thing is that we did not come out of the
storm 90 miles away from
Question: Did you notice any blue-green glowing phosphoresce before, during or

Question: Did you notice any turbulence associated with your experience? Answer: “I did notice some turbulence related to the Fog. When my airplane reached the end of the Tunnel and made its exit from the Storm, I felt the sensation of zero gravity. I also felt as if we were being given a boost in forward momentum. At the same time and length of this feeling, contrails formed on the edge of the wingtips for about 10 seconds.

We saw five UFO'S in formation traveling an incredible speed from north to south, all heading toward Bimini. They were all the same shape and color as the ones I had seen previously.”
“I thought I had discovered a correlation

some form of reflection that creates an illusion, or it could be a form of

similar to ball lightning they seem to have a mind of their own and they have
aeronautical abilities that only a bird could possess.” Did Bruce experience a time storm?
Karma Is the concept of "action" or "deed”, understood as that which causes the entire cycle of cause and effect, action and reaction that governs all life. Any kind of intentional action whether mental, verbal, or physical, is regarded as Karma. The law of Karma states-All living creatures are responsible for their karma — their actions and the effects of their actions. Karma is not fate, for humans act with free will creating their own destiny, nor predestination imposed upon us by some mysterious unknown power to which we must helplessly submit ourselves. It is one’s own doing reacting on oneself, and so one has the possibility to divert the course of one’s Karma to some extent. How far one diverts it depends on oneself. If we sow goodness, we will reap goodness; if we sow evil, we will reap evil. Karma refers to the totality of our actions and their concomitant reactions in this and previous lives, all of which determines our future. The conquest of karma lies in intelligent action and dispassionate response. Karma is not punishment or retribution but simply an extended expression or consequence of natural acts. While we are born to a state created by ourselves, yet by our own self-directed efforts there is every possibility for us to create new, favorable environments even here and now. Not only individually, but also, collectively, we are at liberty to create fresh Karma that leads either towards our progress or downfall in this very life. He who believes in Karma does not condemn even the most corrupt, for they; too, have their chance to reform themselves at any moment. Though bound to suffer in woeful states, they have hope of attaining eternal Peace. By their own doings they have created their own Hells, and by their own doings they can create their own Heavens, too. The shortest explanation of karma that I know is: 'you get what you give'. In other words; whatever you do intentionally to others, a similar thing will happen to yourself in the future. WHY BELIEVE IN KARMA?
Watch
your thoughts, for they become words. Reasons to believe in karma? It represents ultimate justice as everyone will harvest the results of their actions, and even if karma would not exist, as long as I try to avoid negative actions, the world would be a better place to live in for everyone anyway.
